Hi, I'm Katie — the designer, artist, and creator behind Sugarplum Patches!

Creativity has always been a huge part of my life. Whether I'm drawing, painting, sewing, designing seamless patterns, creating embroidery designs, or designing fabric, I simply love making beautiful things. Creating brings me so much joy, and I'm thrilled to share that passion with you through Sugarplum Patches.

I started Sugarplum Patches because I fell in love with embroidery and wanted to expand my creativity into designing unique embroidered patches. What began as a creative interest quickly grew into a passion, and I am so excited to bring my designs to life for fellow makers, collectors, and patch lovers.

I'm also a stay-at-home mom to four wonderful children. Being able to stay home with my family while building a business centered around something I genuinely love is a blessing that I never take for granted. Every order supports not only my small business but also my dream of creating while raising my family.

When I'm not designing, you'll usually find me cooking for my family, spending time with my children, painting, sewing, or enjoying the simple joys of everyday life.
